[Pkg-lyx-devel] How to handle those ancient lyx upgrade bugs?

Hi guys,
I'm wondering how to handle those three old lyx upgrade bugs.
The Bug numbers are: #224799 #241173 #237388
All of them are about upgrade problems from something < 1.3.(3|4)
to 1.3.(3|4).
The only upgrade from a 1.3.x version we've to handle will be the
step from 1.3.4 (sarge) up to 1.4.x (maybe 1.4.3?).

So I took some time today to install a Debian/sarge with KDE+lyx-qt
and run it so that it populates ~/.lyx and subsequently upgraded that
setup to Debian/etch.
I can now report that I could not reproduce any of the problems reported
in those three bugs.
The only thing was a warning about the unknown option "ps_command" which
went away after a configure run.

As a result of that experiment I'd like to close those bugs.

Comments?

I'm now going to upgrade the whole thing to Debian/unstable to be sure that
under normal circumstances nothing brakes with the 1.4.1->1.4.2 upgrade.
Maybe I'll also try a direct upgrade from 1.3.4 to 1.4.2.
