Hi,

Selecting + pasting with middle button works fine for me. Could you
try this again with the latest version? Also, are you sure you're
doing the right thing (keeping the text selected etc.)? Do you see the
error with all applications you're trying to paste in? Also note that
the select+middle button buffer is different from the cut/copy+paste
buffer.
