[Pkg-lyx-devel] For what do we need 03.latex8_counters.dpatch?

I could not find them in latex8.sty. What I could find was

\newcommand{\Section}[1]{\section{\hskip -1em.~#1}}
\newcommand{\SubSection}[1]{\subsection{\hskip -1em.~#1}}

but these are commands, not counters and are already used in the layout 
file.

Drop it. The existing layout file works fine for me. The patch was not the 
right fix for the original bug report. The error message does not occur 
anymore because the layout mechansim has been made more flexible in 1.4, 
and the style does now use the right counter.

Please never ever patch layout files in the debian package, since that 
will make documents incompatible to the standard version! If there is a 
bug it should be corrected upstream.
