Well I don't like to judge if it's worth to write it or not. It's
there and we've the choice to distribute it or not.

Well now LyX 1.4.3 is released so I think we can skip the frontend decision
for now (again). I've checked in the updates for the patches into the svn
repo and try to build it now.

Maybe I'll provide the plain lyx-gtk package on my private website and
announce it on the lyx-user mailinglist to see if there are actually users
to try it. Then we can re-think everything else.

Quite at bad timing but I'll be away for the next three days. I've been told
that we've a UMTS device so maybe I can at least check my mails.
