Hm I've now removed some -dbg/-debug packages I installed to create 
a usefull backtrace and it seems to be relativly fast again now.
So it's possible that I'm just too stupid to get it right.

As long as I'm the only one with these problems it shouldn't stop
the package from migrating to unstable with the 1.5 final release.
