Hi,
yes I'm touching one of those very old bug reports now.
I suspect that this bugreport is no longer relevant since LyX moved on
and tetex-extra has even been removed from unstable after the etch release.

So I guess that this bug can be closed but I would like to hear if someone
has any objects?
