I bet that we'll have, short time after uploading a so fixed package, a
bugreport asking how we could be so rude to remove this very important
template. ;)

BTW: For docbook and some others you just have to install the needed helper
tools and reconfigure lyx. I just checked that again. The aa.cls file seems
to be missing completly from Debian so you've to add this by hand if you
would like to use it. The layout file for LyX seems to be well maintained.

Well the more advanced LyX and Debian user might already know about this
problem. It's always a compromise. :)

Sure no problem. I'm considering to tag your report 'wontfix' and let it
stay as a kind of documentation of this 'problem'.
