This man page contains rather frightening code (at least to me). AFAICS,
it has been generated from lyx using the old manpage layout. I would
actually propose to kill the comments. 

If you have some knowledge of how manpages should be coded, removing big
parts of cruft would not hurt actually.

JMarc
