Right, my fault, I mixed up the URL and hyperref stuff. The test
document in the bugreport uses hyperref.

I tried the texlive 2009 beta now and it still doesn't work. Switching the
color and removing the frame works fine but breaking over lines still doesn't
work.

Thanks anyway looks like I need to dig still a little bit deeper.
