[Pkg-lyx-devel] Bug#588448: lyx: ERT code produces error

When inserting the following ERT code:

\end{empheq} 

in my document I get from lyX the following error:
LaTeX error: Something's wrong--perhaps a missing \item

The only difference with a working document is the ERT code above and some additions in my preamble:
\usepackage{empheq}
\usepackage{svgcolor}

This ERT code is reported to work in LaTeX and is often cited as an example.
