FYI
It seems that pushing the sensible-* and xdg-open changes to configure.py
turn out to be not as clever as we thought it would be.

 I don't think so. There is rather old bug about this issue
 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=243461

 Looking at the sensible-editor script it's not very flexible nor creative
 in finding an approriate editor. (I somehow feel guilty to have pushed
 this mess upstream. Lesson learned.)
