That was kind of prerequisite for a new upload. :) I also took a few
minutes to forward your patch and raised the issue of reproducible builds.
I guess you've seen my changes on wiki.d.o by now.

I also found this one in the Fedora repo but could not yet find out
what Gnome/Freedesktop stuff is related/makes use of it:

But enough for today and I'd guess for at least this month.
I still hope for some more helping hands, but I guess that will
only happen if I really leave it alone. :-/ While working on open
source software is so rewarding most of the time, it sometimes
really frustrates me that a project with such great and helpful
guys coding it upstream, can not recruite someone fanatic enough to
commit to the Debian package for a few more years. Well time is sparse
for everyone.
