[Pkg-lyx-devel] spelling fix madness

Hi Nick et al,
I just tried to update the lyx package to the latest
LyX 2.2.1 release and inevitably collided with the patches
fix-spelling-errors
fix-typos-collapsible

YMMV but I think that got a bit too far in updating
NEWS files and internal naming. I don't mind fixing
user visible spelling mistakes but I think those
patches go way too far and are now very hard to
update with every new release.

I'm currently not sure if it's better to strip them
down to the useful parts or just drop them all together
to lower the maintenance burden.
At the moment I lean towards dropping them all together.
