Since I upgraded to version 2.2.0-2 the program's reaction to input
has become extremely slow. It feels as if the spellchecker was running
in the background - although the GUI shows it as disabled. (I disabled
the spellchecker in previous versions for the very same reason: it
slowed down the reaction on input.)
