madplay was never available on kfreebsd so this isn't an RC bug.

It shouldn't be that hard to disable alsa support.

winff doesn't depend on it? That has those problems:
out of date on powerpc: winff, winff-dbg, winff-doc (from 1.3.2-1)
out of date on sparc: winff, winff-dbg, winff-doc (from 1.3.2-1)
winff (source, i386, amd64, powerpc, sparc) has new bugs!
Updating winff introduces new bugs: #624369

daisy-player on the other had does seem to depend it, and on
udisks which also isn't available on kfreebsd.
