Yes, that patch was crucial to my operation as well, but lacked the time
to port it to new codebase (after Mike's code cleanup, also the other
patch directly affects scanning), especially since a new patch is being
worked on . . .

Ok, i'll test your patch, and if it works I'll upload a new version with
it included but not applied by default.

Thanks! svens commit message was wrong, I simply copied the HAL version
number from his commit log.

Definately a typo, an artifact from when I merged my personal package
into alioth svn, and forgot to properly update the control file . . . .
