Madwifi Modules

Hi,

I tracked down your email from:
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/m/madwifi-tools/madwifi-tools_0.9.2+dfsg-1.diff.gz

I've noticed that my wireless performs much better in Ubuntu and related
distros than in most others, especially those for which I just execute a
typical make && make install with the extracted 0.9.3.1 package of Madwifi.
Do you tweak some sensitivity settings or something else when building or
deploying these modules? I'm very curious to get the most out of my Atheros
card.
