Yesterday I did the:
iwpriv ath0 bgscan 0
iwpriv ath0 protmode 0
iwpriv ath0 rssi11a 11
iwpriv ath0 rssi11b 11
iwpriv ath0 rssi11g 11
iwpriv ath0 bintval 500
sysctl -w dev.wifi0.diversity=0
sysctl -w dev.wifi0.txantenna=1
sysctl -w dev.wifi0.rxantenna=1

(the last three I already used because I am only using one antenna)

And I haven't seen this problem since(that is actually using madwifi
trunk, but I got the same errors as the version in lenny and they
disappeared using the iwpriv commands)

The bug can be closed I guess
