Bug#545341: hildon-desktop: i18n strings are not loaded or properly displayed

As already reported in bug #485682 which reported two bugs, but was closed
because of the other one, i18n is not loaded correectly.

I have maemo-af-desktop-l10n-engb installed and I tried launching like this:
 LANG=en_GB hildon-desktop
with same results as when launching without LANG setting.

I have attempted to install maemo-af-desktop-l10n-english, however this
package conflicts with maemo-af-desktop-l10n-engb, and hildon-desktop
depends on -engb.
