Package: mc
Version: 2:4.6.2~git20080311-1
Severity: normal

Hello Patrick,

Before a file is copied over fish, it is copied to some other location
on the filesystem. I was wondering about the motivation when this was
first introduced for ftp. Anyway, mc doesn't do that for local files and
I don't see any reason to do that for fish. Even copying between two
remote panels doesn't require local storage (at least in theory).

Thanks in advance,
