[Pkg-mc-devel] Bug#483927: why should 0\ be renamed to 0?

Hello, 
I don't really get it what you want to tell me:

You have a dir called "/tmp/0\" and you would like to rename it to "/tmp/0" ?

This doesn't work? Is this correct?

If yes this could be related to a patch I wrote to fix a important error.
