After removing the following paragraph

# Executables
type/executable
         Open=./%f
         View=%view
         Drop=%f %q
         Execute in XTerm=xterm -e %f &
         View Required Libraries=%view{ascii} ldd %f
         Strip binary=strip %f
         Icon=application.xpm

from ~/.mc/bindings everything works as expected.
Actually removing this file as all makes sense as well - I have no
idea whether it is useful any more ... it's a long time since I had
not added bindings any more.

I would regard the bug as done if this issue would be documented somewhere.

I can confirm that I did not invented this paragraph on my own so it
was created by mc at some point in time and might affect others as well.

Kind regards and thanks for maintaining mc

     Andreas.
