Upstream does not provide us with the detailed information on which
version of slang2 is compatible with mc, that's why we didn't have an
explicit version on the package in the dependencies.

Is it possible for you to check out first whether it works ok with
libslang2 from stable (2.1.3-3), before I update the requirements?
