[Pkg-mc-devel] Bug#589557: mcedit: typing multibyte unicode character right afterpressing backspace moves selection

1. Run mcedit with utf-8 locale
2. Add ----1234567890---- string at third line
3. Select all numbers using F3
4. Move cursor to the first character of the text and type any letter
(i.e. "z") 5. Press backspace
6. Type any multibyte character (or insert letter "я" via X buffer if
you do not have any multibyte letters on your keboard layout) 7. Now
you see that number "1" is no longer selected
