Status in “mc” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: mc

imi at most:/tmp$ mcedit testfile.txt
now position your cursor at the second byte of the file [1+0 1/3] *(1/10b) press "down" several times: the cursor will stop at the end of the second line. now press right to position the cursor at the beginning of the third line. the behavior previously in this situation was to "down" and "right" do the same (position the cursor at the beginning of the next line). I'd better like this behavior.
