[Pkg-mc-devel] Bug#616196: mc: Missing desktop file

Hi,

when trying to use MC on desctop centric environments it might be
hard to find it without a reasonable desktop file.  I verified that
there are a desktop file and proper icons are available in the
upstream bug tracking system as bug #2314 and copied the desktop
file as well as the *.png and *.svg icons into the packaging.  The
attached mc_4.7.0.9-1.1.debian.tar.gz contains a diff for building
a Debian package which solves the problem (tested on Maverick on
an netbook running Ubiquity).

If pkg-mc SVN is writable for DDs I can commit the changes.  If you do
not have time to upload this I'd volunteer to do it (either as NMU or
adding myself as Uploader in the team) if you want me to do so.

It might be a good idea to ask upstream to finally include this into
their official tarball.
