Yesterday I've updated corresponding upstream bug report (there are more than 
one applicable)

I'm not yet familiar with upstream BTS but so far I'm not impressed with it.
To find a right ticket I need to scan through up to 600 bugs including closed 
ones so you can imagine it takes a lot of time. Hence the delay.

I forgot to mention that bug seems to affect only bash shell.

Workaround it's not so weak - I'm surprised how much faster and more stable mc 
become without subshell. Also number of other bugs will not have a chance. 

I will be evaluating this mode because I might not always need embedded shell.
