I'm using Konsole where font is easy to set. But IMHO it would be too much 
troubles to document settings for terminal applications.

I doubt if we need to provide anything more than alternative skins - if for 
whatever reason a particular skin doesn't look good (due to settings or user's 
visual preferences) there are others to try.

I'm not too concerned about this as long as default skin is not affected.

I'm not sure about hints regarding font setting in terminal applications 
because it feels a bit out of scope, but certainly issue is worth mentioning 
in README.Debian, which I just updated with few comments.
