[Pkg-mc-devel] Bug#727703: (no subject)

I found the culprit!  It is a file named mc.macros which somehow got into my /root/.local/share/mc directory.  It contains the following:

kpdown=Down:-1;Down:-1;Up:-1;Up:-1;Up:-1;Up:-1;Down:-1;Down:-1;

I don't know if I should laugh or cry.
