Package: mc
Version: 3:4.8.3-10
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
in right panel of mc, display the information panel (Ctrl-x i).
The Device item of the panel displays the name of the item, example : /dev/sdb3.
Select a symbolic link to a folder on another partition, example /dev/sda4.
Enter in this path.
The previous device name (/dev/sda3) is displayed for all the files and folders
instead of the real device (/dev/sda4).
Expected behaviour : The information panel should displayed the real device
name of the file even a symbolic link is in the path.
On the bottom of the listing panel, the size of the device is good so I think
that it is possible to get the right data for the linked directory.
Regards.
