Package: mc
Version: 3:4.8.13-3
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
My provider gives access to an ftp server, and has configured an FTP user
webmaster at domain.org.
This @ character has to be escaped to %40 to fit a proper URL systax, but the
FTP link logic in mc cannot handle these escpae sequences.
The accompanying patch fixes this problem fot the ftpfs login case - which was
my primary reason to dig into the program. The patch is taken against mc-4.8.13
as received by "apt-get source mc".
