Hi Andreas,

Could you please show the output of the "file" command on the problematic 
jar files and also make a sample available?

I wouldn't mind adding \.(zip|jar)$ to mc.ext.in upstream, but I'd be 
curious to know why exactly the type-based detection doesn't work.
