Hi Denis,

After 4.8.16 release, we've got at least three very annoying bugs out in 
the wild: 1) broken fish 2) broken patchfs 3) broken tcsh. On top of that, 
we have problems on FreeBSD, but that's less relevant for Debian.

Please be sure to include the patches for the crappy three if you want to 
unleash 4.8.16 on the users, we are thinking of doing 4.8.17 soon, but I'm 
not sure if I'll manage.

I'm writing this very brief note now, because I don't know if & when I'll 
get time to write a more detailed mail with tickets numbers, etc.
