uups i should reread strange long subjects more carefully.

MODULES=list will _ONLY_ work if you supply the releavant modules
to /etc/initramfs-tools/modules, it is _not_ the default.
recommended is MODULES=most or suggested for smaller MODULES=dep.

please retry with MODULES=most.
