Bug#458327: on reboot mdadm fails to mount all drives in a raid5 array

Package: mdadm
Version: 2.6.3+200709292116+4450e59-3
Severity: important
This computer has, amongst others, two raid5 partitions.
The system is shut down via a "standard" command. When rebooted,
sdd1 and sdd2 are missing. The raid5 arrays get manually rebuilt
using the # mdadm --manage --re-add command.
On one occasion an abnormal shutdown occurred. On reboot both raid5
arrays were detected as degraded and were automatically rebuilt and
were reassembled correctly.
If, following a "normal" shutdown and reboot, an event were to occur
that caused a loss of data before the raid5 arrays were manually
restored, mdadm would be unable to recover the information from
either raid5 array. This is a bug.
