There is no error here.
/dev/md1 is a non-partitionable array (major number 9).
/dev/md/1 is another name for the same thing.
/dev/md_d1 is a partitionable array (dynamic major number).
/dev/md/d1 is another name of the same thing.
So while the examples might be confusing, they are not incorrect.
