Bug#549287: root disk not found

Harald Dunkel harald.dunkel at t-online.de

Package: mdadm
Version: 3.0-3.1
Severity: grave

After the upgrade to mdadm 3.0-3.1 the new initrd doesn't find the
root device (a software raid0) anymore.

See the attached screen shot. AFAICS the software raid is assembled,
all disks are found, but then it fails. Booting the backup created
with mdadm 3.0-2 worked.

Kernel is upstream's 2.6.31.1, udev is version 146-3.
This bug might be related to #541884.

Regards

Harri
