Bug#603343: mdadm: a new added hdd is a spare instead of an active device

Hi,

First things first: Are "Spitzauer <werner.gloeckl at web.de>" and
"<spitzauer_77 at gmx.de>" the same person? If so, please use only one
address in the future to avoid complicating things!

I don't quite understand what your problem is. Could you attach the
*current* output of

	cat /proc/mdstat

mdadm --detail /dev/md127 # Or whatever your raid device is

mdadm --examine /dev/sdb1 # Or whatever the components of your
mdadm --examine /dev/sdc1 # raid are called
	...

and describe what *exactly* is wrong with it?

If you prefer, you _can reply in German_, but please _don't cc_ the bug
report in that case.

Best regards

Alexander Kurtz
