Hello,
This can be useful at least in some workloads and/or for some
raid types (cpu-intensive, e.g. raid5).
You can take look on /usr/sbin/raid-check in
CentOS (quoted below). $NICE variable looks like
an exact opportunity for --high/--low/--idle switches:
