An equivalent patch has been merged upstream in

	http://neil.brown.name/git?p=mdadm;a=commitdiff;h=f161d047eed634b3380262767f955eb888502e88

and has been released as part of the bugfix release mdadm-3.2.3 a week
ago, it would be great to see this bug fixed in Debian as well.
