severity 684708 important
thanks
After reading this bug's log, I'm not entirely convinced that it is
release critical and severity serious:
serious
is a severe violation of Debian policy (roughly, it violates a
"must" or "required" directive), or, in the package maintainer's
or release manager's opinion, makes the package unsuitable for
release.
important
a bug which has a major effect on the usability of a package,
without rendering it completely unusable to everyone.
I don't see any data loss or security issues, but "only" a failure to
boot in a very specific situation? This very well fits the definition
of "important".
In short, in my opinion, this bug shouldn't be in the list of bugs
that hold off the release of wheezy.
