CCing Neil, as he might share some wisdom here :)
Perhaps I'm just plain dumb or I don't now... ;)
It seems that when creating/assembling devices, the create entry from
mdadm.conf, which in debian happens to be:
CREATE owner=root group=disk mode=0660 auto=yes
per default, seem to be ignored, on the devices themselves.
I can set what I want, this get's applied to the /dev/md/ directory
but the devices always get:
root:disk rw-rw---T
I tried
export MDADM_NO_UDEV=1
as well... but no change.
Do I expect something wrong... or is some Debian udev black magic in between?
