Thanks a lot for stepping in, it's definitely appreciated.

I think you should upload a version (or Debian revision) of mdadm with
Michael's name replaced by yours in the Uploaders control field.

Then, if you feel you could use some help from other people, you might
consider the possibility of filing a RFH bug report (about mdadm)
against the wnpp pseudo package...
