Hi Maintainer,

if I would accept this version we would have 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 in Debian.
I think thats too much.
What are your plans with the old(er) packages of it? Is it impossible to
just use the same package names and do upgrades with it?
UPGRADE sounds, at least for 1.5->1.6 upgrades, not that bad.
