Though, it took me some time looking if the bug was submited upstream, to find 
out you're the submiter, and the discussion associated..

Honnestly, if would spare me some time to have more information when a patch 
is submited, in particular if you're the involved..


I think I agree with Brion, and as the maintainer, I would better see this 
fixed upstream, which has a better overview than me on the side effects.
