Although changing to a newer version sounds right to me I don't want to 
mess with non-Debianeske packages, so I'll wait. During this, just 
comment out folling line:

  var is_ff2 = /firefox\/[2-9]|minefield\/3/.test( clientPC );
---> var is_ff2_ = /firefox\/2/.test( clientPC ); <---
----------------------------/code-------------------------

I don't know how this happened or why, but that line just resets the 
variable is_ff2, which was set the line before. Commenting out this 
command prevents this and fixes the bug. Well at least for me :)
