Chris, this is because the mailing list is not in
the To: or Cc: field – your postings require explicit
manual approval like that.

If you want them to be published speedily, put something
we can whitelist there. (Actually, the mailing list admin
can disable the requirement for there to be an explicit
destination, but I only received list moderator rights.)

If you put pkg-mediawiki-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org
into To: or Cc: no further action is required by anyone;
everything else needs the list admin (Romain?) to act,
or the list moderators (de facto, me) to permit the mail
every single time.
