I actually run my installations without mediawiki.conf
so I do not normally run into it.

Actually… I’ve just put the symlink back:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 Sep  4 17:11 /etc/apache2/conf.d/mediawiki.conf -> /etc/mediawiki/apache.conf

It’s still all working for me. (I do run this as part of
an Evolvis/FusionForge installation.)
