Hi,

  We've got a machine with a radeon 7000VE here, which completely freezes if 
  one drags glxgears around in X.

  Video card:
    0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon RV100 
    QY [Radeon 7000/VE]

  If you need more information about the configuration please let me know. I
  can't really give any debug output as the machine just freezed
