 Just a hint: being a tiny tad more polite will get you a faster, more
 useful response in the future.

 I'm sorry the debian/rules script for mesa isn't quite to your liking.
 If this could be any simpler beleive me it would be.

 Since you are trying to build a version of Mesa which does NOT support
 all the targets that the mesa package is trying to build the build is
 going to fail.

 Since you are trying to build this for Xgl, you probably want the DRI
 drivers and only that.  Look in debian/README.build and you'll find an
 explaination about what to edit and what to remove to prevent certain
 targets from building.
